Rusty brings his experience of 13 years as a freelance vocal artist, performing for clubs, pubs, and major LGBTIQ events, as well as his personal experience with domestic violence and 3 years sharing that with this production to his role as Lead Performer.
"Dazzla" (as lovingly referred to by the rest of the cast and crew) is an accomplished composer, keyboard musician, vocal coach and musical director. He has been involved in a large number and large variety of Australian and international musical productions spanning theatre, film, TV, and most notably cabarets for decades. He brings all this experience to the role of Musical Director.
Matt brings a decade's industry experience producing various LGBTIQ performing arts events, his professional experience providing education to family violence services as Manager, LGBTI Domestic Violence at Rainbow Health Victoria, and his own personal experience with domestic violence in a same sex relationship to the role of Producer/Director.
Tonié fearlessly challenges gender expectations as a highly innovative and captivating non-binary gendered performer. Training classically as a star student of the ANU School of Music and achieving an ARIA award in 2003, Sie has tutored and lectured at the VCA/MCM since 1998. Hir commanding virtuosity blends the best of vitallic and rhythmic guitar music genres into queer settings combining theatricality, burlesque, visual drama, movement, gender diversity and fashion into one exciting package. Sie brings all this and more to hir role as Stage Manager.
Jess brings her years of experience working in theatre & TV and her skills as a clinical psychologist to her role as Dramaturge.
